MINUTES FROM THE LAST MEETING: Kathy Bagu read the minutes from the meeting of June 2, 2003. A motion to accept the minutes was made by Charles Ettensperger, with a second from Dave Bagu. The motion passed.
FINANCIAL REPORT: Kathy Bagu read the financial report (attached).
OLD BUSINESS
EAST COURSE COMBINE FUTURITY RACE: A motion was made by Bill Lincoln, with a second by Kathy Bagu, to allow money race birds to count for points, diplomas, etc., if they are part of the flyers thirty-bird team. The motion passed.
EXOTIC NEWCASTLE DISEASE (END) TESTING: Bill Lincoln gave the membership an update on END quarantine and a scenario of how areas might be lifted from the quarantine, if and when that time comes. Bill also gave a presentation on the use of the test kit provided by the AU, which is being shipped via FEDEX. Bill went into great detail, explaining how to store the test kit contents, how to administer the test itself, how to complete the paperwork and how package the kit for return via FEDEX. Bill explained how to schedule a FEDEX pickup of the kit by calling the 800 number on the package. Bill also informed the membership that the AU would pay shipping and testing.
NEW BUSINESS
CORRESPONDANCE: Kathy Bagu read a letter to the membership from Joan Lynn. Mrs. Lynn works with the City of Hope. The letter thanks the membership for its contribution in the amount of $400.00.
CRATE INVENTORY: Kathy reminded the membership to submit their inventory of crates.
ADJOURNMENT: A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Vito Frankini. The second came from Charles Ettensperger. The motion passed and the meeting adjourned at 20:18.
